Please join me at the Holiday Market Party in Highlandtown Saturday (tomorrow… er, actually today, considering it’s 1am)! I’ll be selling prints, holiday cards (this image is one of them), and stickers along with 25 other artists and crafters. There will also be food, a firepit out back, and music. It will be fun!

Today is your last chance to see Watchamacallit Thingamajig in The Silber Gallery at Goucher! It’s a really awesome show. And I was very excited for the chance to display my entire Fox’s Misunderstandings series. Here are a few images. Thanks again, Laura Amussen, for inviting me to be a part of it.

Don’t forget to stop by the Kindl Markt in Hampden tomorrow. I’m selling a bunch of prints. This one could by yours!

It’s also the last event at the Hampden Republican Club! The building has been sold and rumor has it that it’s going to be a restaurant (not sure when). Come see it in it’s final classic style.

We’ll also be accepting donations to help Hurricane Sandy victims. Most needed items are: cleaning supplies, trash bags, rubber gloves, and non perishable food items.

Here’s the facebook link and all the info:
Sunday, December 9
11am – 5pm
3535 Chestnut Ave., Baltimore, MD, 21211

There will be food. There will be art. There will be crafts. There will be drinks. “The game” will be on in the back bar. I, personally, don’t “do” “games”, but if that’s your kind of thing, come hang out and watch it.

Come to Hampden on Sunday to buy arts and crafts from some local artists! I’m participating in a holiday market in Hampden along with a lot of other local artists. I’ll be selling the prints from my etsy store (at a discounted price!) and some brand new ones too.

There will be some food for sale and there will be a bar open in the back. Stop by, buy some things, and hang out with us as we celebrate the winter holidays!

Thanks Lisa D. for organizing the whole thing! And thanks Kelley B. for making the amazing poster!

This is the animation I made to project in this year’s Lantern Parade in Patterson Park. It synced quite amazingly with the marching bands as they came by (see video clip below). Special thanks to Laure Drogoul for inviting me to participate and for her wonderful job organizing the event.

post Hoodie

One of the best things I saw at Artscape, despite the fact that it was not actually a part of Artscape, was Hoodie. This guy named Michael was hanging out with a kinetic sculpture creature he made. It was awesome!

post Salsa!

July 23rd, 2012

I just made the most beautiful and delicious salsa! We had a bunch of salsa-friendly veggies around the house. Thanks One Straw Farm CSA! Heirloom tomato, tomatillos, garlic, lime, shallots, and a mole pepper. Everything from the Waverly Farmers Market (mostly One Straw Farm), aside from the lime (from the store) and the mole pepper (grown by a friend – I would tell you who but it’s Ben’s friend and I can’t think of her name right now).
